Prepare your mind and body for meditation

Practical techniques for balancing your mind through meditation

Simple exercises and you can carry out at home or work

Are you encountering physical problems related to the act of sitting still for a length of time?

Whether you are trying to sit cross-legged in the yoga tradition, kneeling on a bench or sitting up straight on a chair, perhaps you are finding discomfort in sitting for extended periods of time.

"Yoga for Meditation" includes simple yoga exercises and stretches to enable you to get the optimum benefit from your meditation practice. Its purpose is to help you prepare your body and mind for meditation. It is aimed at the growing number of practitioners of various approaches to meditation, including yoga, Buddhism (including Tibetan, Zen and Vipasana), contemplative Christian and/or a variety of other time-honoured, as well as New Age traditions, that recommend meditation.
